Hello Augusta Community!

Things may have slowed down a bit at the Go! Augusta office, but we're busy planning exciting events for our community!

Our new ABC Market at The Depot kicks off Sunday, August 16, with additional markets on September 20 and October 18, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial on State Street. Interested in becoming a vendor? We have vendor space still available for September 20 and October 18.  Register through the link above or contact Mandi at 316-775-4585.

We're also preparing for our Annual Homecoming Parade & Community Tailgate on Friday, October 2. Watch for more details coming soon!

The Go! Augusta Newsletter is your source for local events, businesses, nonprofits, and community news. Click "Subscribe" to receive the newsletter to your email.  We are close to having 600 subscribers, so help us out!

This Week and and into September & October!

  • Augusta Public Library - is accepting registration for Preschool Storytime for children age 3 to 5years old who have not begun kindergarten. Preschool Storytime meets on Tuesday OR Wednesday, at 9:30am OR 11am. This weekly one hour story time prepares preschool children for attending preschool or kindergarten. Please call the library at (316)775-2681 for additional information or to register your child.
  • Mega Pines Mini Golf – Sunflower Summer events have been extended through August 8, plus the new go-karts are coming soon!  Check their website or Facebook page for all the fun they have to offer!
  • Networking – Mark your calendar for our next Business After Hours at Renew Med Spas on Monday, August 24, at 5:30 p.m.
  • P2G – Paddle to Gravel returns September 12.
  • It's Back!  The 3rd Annual Sugar Shane's Golf Tournament is almost here!  The date is Saturday, September 19th.  This tournament is only possible because of the incredible support from local businesses, volunteers, and golfers. Together, we’re proud to support the Augusta Community Foundation, partner with the Augusta Country Club, and continue a tradition that brings our community together.   Interested in sponsoring, donating, or reserving a team?   • Core Community Augusta – Support local families while entering to win a new vehicle.
  • Holiday Bowl – Fall Leagues are coming soon and enjoy Cosmic Bowling every Saturday.
  • Lilly Lake Kansas - Check out Lily Lake where Childhood Untrammeled - A physical space where families learn, work and play together. Designed for children who deserve real freedom and parents who deserve real community.  Check out their website for all they have to offer!  They are currently have a Little Library Book Drive, now through August 28th.  For the next month (yep, you read that correctly), you can get free admission to our Play Cafe with a donation of children's books.
  • Many of our local businesses have specials, events, and new offerings this week.  So check them out in our directory or on their Facebook Page to see what all they have to offer!

  • Redeem Red Brick Bucks at participating local businesses.  You can also purchase Red Brick Bucks as gifts for others.  Purchase them at the Depot!
