Volunteers Desperately Needed!

Belle Plaine's Downtown Festival Committee has organized this bike run for many years, but they are facing significant challenges in finding volunteers this year. This event is a 100-mile bike run from Twister City in Park City, KS, to Belle Plaine, with all proceeds supporting Honor Flights for veterans. They urgently need a few volunteers this Saturday to help manage a table at Augusta Veterans Memorial Park, located on State Street across from the Depot, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Volunteers will assist bikers in drawing bingo balls for their cards. Alternatively, if you have four volunteers available, they can cover two-hour shifts to minimize the time commitment for each person. The committee will provide all necessary bingo equipment. This event also benefits Augusta, as riders will have the opportunity to visit local businesses and dine at restaurants while in town.
