M&J's Coffee House Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on September 18th

On Monday, September 18th we celebrated the grand opening and ribbon-cutting for Augusta's newest downtown business in the Red Brick District.  Owers Stan and Cynthia Kolbeck came to Augusta to make a dream come true - and it looks like they have succeeded.  529 State Street has been the location of many businesses in the past - but you have never seen it like this!  The Kolbecks have done such an amazing job making their location a new community gathering spot.  Months of hard work have paid off with the most unique atmosphere that makes you feel like you are at home.  Many local business owners and community members joined us at noon to celebrate and welcome them to our community.  This morning, I was able to just walk down the street to get a delicious cup of coffee - how cool is that!  The place was already buzzing with families, business people, and community members getting a great start to their day.  There is guaranteed to be something for everyone with a selection of hot drinks, smoothies and teas, iced coffees and Frappes with or without coffee.  But make sure you check out the freshly baked from-scratch baked goods that Cynthia prepares - Yummo!  One of the best things - they are open Monday - Friday from 6:00 am - 5:00 pm - so you can knock out that afternoon slump with a delicious treat!  Saturdays hours are 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.   Make sure you plan your trip to M&J's coffeehouse soon - I promise you won't be disappointed!
