Good Morning, Augusta! 

Labor Day has come and gone, which means we’re officially heading into one of our favorite times of year, and there is SO much happing around Augusta! 

From fall events and community traditions to local shopping, dining, and discovering something new.  There are so many reasons to get out and enjoy our hometown.

From local businesses and community events to hometown traditions, there’s always something happening in Augusta!  Be sure to check out our Go! Augusta Website – Events and on our Business Facebook Pages. You don’t want to miss a thing!  So, check out what’s happening, then mark your calendar, and make plans! Then, grab your family, call your friends, and then join in on the fun.

AND, while you’re out and about, shop local whenever you can!  Stop by a Red Brick District business, grab a bite to eat, support a local business, or simply take a stroll around town, while you are enjoying Common Consumption on a Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 11am to 10:00pm (unless modified by a special event permit). You just never know what you might discover!

Every time we shop, eat, explore, and support local, we are helping make Augusta a great place to live, work, visit, and call home.

Fall is here! Augusta is ready! Let’s make the most of it!  We hope to see you around town! 

Augusta School District - Fall sports have all begun at AHS and AMS – check out their schedules and support the Orioles and Bluejays!  To stay up to date on district news, events, click link for high school activity & athletic schedules, and construction, be sure to follow USD 402 and your student’s school on Facebook and visit their website at www.usd402.com.  

I am very happy to announce another business that has joined Go! Augusta!  We are very happy they have become part of our organization and community!

Mark your Calendar for things to do!

Holiday Bowl – Holiday Bowl is starting Family Bowling Days on Saturdays, 11am-3pm and Sundays, 12pm-6pm.  For more information click the link above!

 Augusta's ABC Market at the Depot!   Our goal for the ABC Market is to bring together local farmers, artists, makers, small businesses, nonprofits, food vendors, and the community for an enjoyable afternoon celebrating everything local.  We hope you will visit us at our next two markets!

 Additional market dates include:

  • Sunday, September 20 and Sunday and October 18
  • Food Vendors starting at Noon
  • Vendor Shopping 1:00pm – 5:00pm

Business After Hours

Mark your calendars for Go! Augusta's next Business After Hours on Monday, September 14th, at 5:30 p.m. at Mega Pines Mini Golf, located at 1802 Hwy 54, Andover!  We hope you’ll join us for an early evening of networking, refreshments, and fun at Mega Pines Mini Golf! Come see what they have to offer and check out their newest addition—go-karts! You may just have to take a spin around the track while you’re there!

  • At Gambino's Pizza in Augusta, don't forget about their 5th Quarter - After 4 quarters of football, go and enjoy a 5th Quarter of food and fun!  Every home varsity football game, they will be open until 11pm.  9:30pm-10:30pm, All you can eat cheesticks & Dessert Pizza from their snack buffet!
  • September Special at District Tan 316 – Keep your summer glow – Buy (3) custom spray tans and save $15!
  • Happenings at Bricks Bar & Grill – Friday, September 18th, - Listen to Robbie Bell, 9:00pm-12:00am. If you want to have a place to go to watch the Chiefs, Bricks is the place to go!  For all things happening, click on the link above for all the events in September!
  • Happenings at Redbud Brewing – Saturday, September 12th, 7pm – Karaoke Night, Tuesday, September 15th, 6pm – Trivia Night
  • Core Community – 8th Annual Autumn Auction & BBQ – Sunday, September 20th, lunch will be served at Noon -2pm. First Baptist Church, 1501 State Street.  Live and Online Auctions – Suggested Donation per adult meal $15.  Click on the link to the  Online auction which is now open through September 20th.  The Live Auction will happen shortly after the BBQ.  You will hear from a Core Leader and a Core Friend about how the program changes lives.
  • Park Bench Brewing Co. – Pitch Night - Every Thursday, from 3:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Augusta Historic Theatre – The Andy Gross Comedy Magic Show, Saturday, September 19th, at 7:30pm
  • Marketplace 67010 – Saturday, September 19th, 10am-4pm – Celebrate Marketplace 67010 5 Year Anniversary.  THEN, on Friday, September 25th, 10am-6pm, Come and enjoy 9 – 2 – 5 Dolly Parton Day!
  • Go! Augusta’s Annual Homecoming Parade and Community Tailgate will take place Friday, October 2. This year’s theme is “Hollywood—Superstars”! There is still time to register for the parade at 2026 Homecoming Parade. Lineup begins at 1:00 p.m., and the parade starts at 2:00pm.
  • Vendors from last year’s Community Tailgate will be contacted first. If additional vendors are needed, details will be posted on the Go! Augusta website https://www.goaugusta.org/connections/32033-idea-tek/and Facebook page.
