Things may have slowed down a bit at the Go! Augusta office, but we're busy planning exciting events for our community!
Our new ABC Market at The Depot kicks off Sunday, August 16, with additional markets on September 20 and October 18, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial on State Street. Interested in becoming a vendor? Register through the link above or contact Mandi at 316-775-4585.
We're also preparing for our Annual Homecoming Parade & Community Tailgate on Friday, October 2. Watch for more details coming soon!

This Week's Highlights
- Augusta Public Library – The Summer Reading Challenge has ended, readers have one more week to pick up their prizes. All prizes must be picked up by July 30th, during regular hours. The Library is also looking for someone that loves working with children! If your answer is yes, they have the job for you!!! They are hiring for a Children's Assistant/Clerk. Please apply in person at 1609 State Street, The Augusta Public Library.
- USD 402 Summer Lunch Program – Families have one more week for free lunches for children ages 1–18 continue through July 31 at Robinson Community Center, 1301 Helen Street. The time is 12:00-1:00pm. Please enter Door #7 on the west side of the building.
- VBS at Augusta United Methodist Church - Beginning Monday, July 27th, 5:30pm, kids 4 years old through 5th Grade. A meal will also be served at 5:15pm, with programming starting at 6:00pm.
- Mega Pines Mini Golf – Sunflower Summer events continue July 27 and August 3, plus the new go-karts are coming soon!
- The Vintage Villa - Bingo Night!!!! Please spread the word!!!!! Thursday, July 30th, doors open at 6:00pm and Bingo starts at 6:30pm.
- All you can eat pancakes and sausage Lion's Club Fundraiser! Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the Augusta Depot, 618 State Street, 8am-Noon / Free-will donation appreciated
- Saturday, August 1st, WFO Car Show in the Red Brick District - Come and enjoy the day, see some great vehicles, food and music! The Car Show will begin at 1:00pm.
- Augusta Historic Theatre – National Opening - Spider-Man: Brand New Day! Friday, July 31st at 7:30pm, and Sunday, August 2nd at 2:00pm, just $5 admission.
- Augusta Rec Center – Enjoy Fun Day at the Rec Center, Saturday, August 1, beginning at 8:00am and runs through 5:00pm. Part of the Fun Day is the Basketball Challenge that starts at 12:00pm and Soccer Camp August 3–6.
- Networking – Mark your calendar for our next Business After Hours at Renew Med Spas on Monday, August 24, at 5:30 p.m.
- P2G – Paddle to Gravel returns September 12.
- Core Community Augusta – Support local families while entering to win a new vehicle.
- Kansas Cannons – Competing in the NBC World Series through August 1.
- Lily Lake Kansas – Farm Camp begins July 29.
- Holiday Bowl – Summer Club memberships and Cosmic Bowling every Saturday.
- Sugar Shane's Café, Park Bench Brewing, Redbud Brewing, Marketplace 67010, Sam's Fudge, Bungee Fun Fitness, Laiken Nicole Flowers, and many more of our local businesses have specials, events, and new offerings this week.
