Your Guide to Augusta This Week: Monday, June 29th and throughout the Month, Into July, Events, News & What’s Coming Up

Last Updated 6/27/2026Posted in Entertainment

Good Morning, Augusta!  And, Happy Monday!

Just a quick update on my unfortunate fall...

It has definitely been a week of ups and downs, both literally and figuratively, but I'm doing well thanks to Clint, who has been the best caretaker I could have ever asked for. ❤️

I've been taking it easy and working from home, while trying not to let this setback keep me down. One bright spot was being able to attend our last Business After Hours event and visit with so many of you. Seeing everyone truly lifted my spirits!

I'll be back in the office on Monday—with Clint's help—to finish getting everything ready for our Celebrate America Parade and Concert in the Park on Saturday, July 4th.

Thank you again for all of your prayers, kind words, and encouragement. They have meant more to me than you know.

We hope to see everyone on Saturday as we Celebrate America together!

So, welcome to a brand-new week in Augusta! We hope you had a great weekend and are ready to enjoy all the opportunities, events, and activities of the week and month ahead has in store.

Remember—shop local first! Every dollar spent locally helps strengthen our economy, create opportunities, and keep Augusta growing strong.

At Go! Augusta, we are dedicated to promoting and supporting our local businesses, nonprofits, community services, and volunteer opportunities that make Augusta a wonderful place to live, work, and celebrate. We encourage you to explore the Augusta Business Directory and support the businesses that invest in our community as members of Go! Augusta.

Thank you to all of our businesses for being part of what makes Augusta such a strong, vibrant, and welcoming community. Together, we continue to support the people, businesses, organizations, and volunteers who help our town thrive.

Don't forget if you need an event posted or need help in sharing your event, don't forget to contact myself or Mandi at the Go! Augusta Office, 316-775-4585.

If any of our local businesses, nonprofits, or home-based entrepreneurs have events, offers or sales, contact me at 316-775-4585 or email me at [email protected].
