Your Guide to Augusta This Week: May 11th into May, Events, News & What’s Coming Up
Good Morning Augusta!
Our Go! Augusta Newsletter shares community news, events, resources, and updates to help keep you informed and connected. We work hard to highlight and support our local businesses, nonprofits, services, and volunteer opportunities throughout the community. If any of our local businesses, nonprofits, or home-based entrepreneurs have events, offers or sales, contact me at 316-775-4585 or email me at[email protected].
I want to thank everyone that attended our first “Burgers on the Bricks”! It was a success, as after the numbers were tallied, we have 318 tickets purchased. We hope to host it again this fall, so please keep an eye out for the date!
The Rod Trowbridge Memorial Fly-in was held last Friday and Saturday at the Augusta Municipal Airport. There was a free breakfast, a car show, children's activities, the Warbirds & Antique Aircrafts on display, free concerts on Friday and Saturday, and vendors of beer, drinks, and food! Clint and I attended on Saturday for the concert and got to listen to Runner-up on the Voice, Jaelen Johnston! He put on a great show!
If you did not make it out, you definitely missed a great weekend! Hopefully, it will be held again next year at our airport and you will be able to attend!
Here’s a roundup of local news, events, and resources to start your week.
