2023 New Year's Eve Event - Neon Nights

New Year's Eve event was a GLOWING success!

The 2023 New Year's Eve event - Neon Nights - took place at The Point Events Center in Augusta on Sunday, December 31st.  Guests were encouraged to wear their boldest and brightest colors.
The evening started at 7:00 pm with dinner being served at 7:30 pm.  

Entering through the doors of The Point - the location was almost unrecognizable.  Blacked-out walls with neon stripes and blacklights gave the atmosphere of a nightclub in the 90's.  Dinner was a bacon-wrapped filet cooked to perfection with red-skinned garlic mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, salad and rolls.  Your choice of beverage was available from the bar and chocolate cake was served for dessert.  

After dinner - it was time to get the party started!  DJ T-Dubb - Terrance Wiliams got us started off right with some dance music.  Everything from country - rock - rap and pop made sure everyone got up to do a little dancing.  There was never a dull moment as games were played throughout the evening to keep everyone engaged.  Remember those little floor scooters in grade school and middle school - you know - the ones that you would constantly run over your fingers with - well you can imagine the scooter races with full-grown adults!  Around 10:30 snacks were served including various chips and dips, nachos, meatballs, and seasoned pretzels.  After we counted down to the New Year - guests poured outside to enjoy the amazing fireworks show.  What better way to ring in the new year than with old friends and the joy of meeting new ones.  The New Year's Eve event will be an annual event hosted by Go! Augusta and The Point Events Center - so if you missed out on this one - make sure you plan to join us next year!
