Lighted Christmas Parade

Join us for the 3rd annual Lighted Christmas Parade - Musical Notes and Holiday Floats - the Songs of Christmas.  This year's theme will remind us of all of our favorite Christmas songs!  We have partnered with several community organizations to bring this special event to our community.  Come early and shop our downtown merchants and make sure to stop by the Augusta Arts Council between 5 pm and 6 pm to pick up s special bag of Christmas popcorn to enjoy while you watch the parade!  Welcome in Santa and his magical Reindeer at the conclusion of the parade.  Kiddos will be able to meet Santa's Reindeer in person at the end of the parade at the Augusta Historic Museum.  Make sure to bring your Christmas List so Santa can take it back to the North Pole!  Sit on Santa's lap and let him know your biggest Christmas wish!  After you have met with Santa and Mrs. Claus - the Augusta Lions Club will be providing cookies and cocoa while you sing along to your favorite Christmas Carols sung by the Augusta Middle School Choir at the roundabout. This will be a magical night and more things are being added so make sure you mark your calendar!  If you are interested in having a float in the parade - please fill out the attached form.  Forms are due no later than November 20th.
